Our founder's story
Sleevo started as a Shark Tank-style project in an Intro to Business class. Quinn, a 15-year-old student at Lyons Township High School, spent a few days trying to figure out what problem was even worth solving — then the answer showed up in his own backpack.
The awkward shove, the snagging, the two-handed tug-of-war just to get a water bottle in and out between classes. It's something every student puts up with without thinking twice. He built Sleevo — a simple insert that slides into most backpack side pockets and creates a smooth sleeve so your bottle goes in and comes out easily. No wrestling with the pocket, no stopping in the hallway. Think of it as a cup holder for your backpack.
What started as a class assignment became a real product, built by a student athlete who plays football and baseball and decided to build a business on the side — because he spotted a small, everyday problem that nobody had bothered to fix.
